In April, I became very ill and ended up in the hospital for many weeks. My colleaques went over and above to help out in every way they could. They conducted rehearsals, concerts, and helped prepare for a substitute that would teach in my absence. I am truly grateful to Alyssa, Bill and Marissa. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with such wonderful people whom I call friends. They "stepped up to the plate" during a very difficult time for me and gave their all for our students."; images: Bouthillier, Pomares and Winkler, Mount Markham Mustang

No matter what the issue is that might take you to the health room, you are greeted with a smile, a listening ear, and the essential help that you need to deal with whatever crisis might have occurred. From the basic of situations like giving out band-aids, to taking temperatures, to handing out ice packs; to going assisting with far more complex medical needs, her calming nature is available for all. She would probably say, 'I'm just doing my job.' She makes a difference daily for the students and staff and for that we are thankful."; images: Jill Waite, Mount Markham Mustang
