Message from the Principal

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Mount Markham Middle School! Whether you are a returning family or joining our Mustang community for the very first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our school family.

The middle school years represent a unique and formative time of transition. Students in grades 5 through 8 experience incredible intellectual, social, and emotional growth. At Mount Markham, our dedicated faculty and staff are deeply committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of every young person who walks through our doors. Our low student-to-teacher ratio allows our educators to truly know each child, helping them find their unique strengths and build academic confidence.

We pride ourselves on offering a rigorous academic curriculum alongside a wide array of extracurricular activities, athletics, and arts programs. We don't just want our Mustangs to succeed in the classroom—we want them to think critically, collaborate creatively, and develop a lifelong passion for discovery. We challenge our students daily to embody the Mustang spirit by demonstrating responsibility, respect, and resilience in everything they do.
