Mount Markham 2026 Capital Project
2026 Capital Project
Dear Mount Markham Community Members,
On Wednesday, December 2nd, Mount Markham Central School District residents will have the opportunity to vote on a proposed capital improvement project. Designed to address critical facility and infrastructure needs across our district, this project will allow us to keep our buildings safe, fully functional, and modernized to support evolving learning modalities.
The Board of Education is committed to maintaining our facilities in the most fiscally responsible manner possible. By leveraging state building aid and utilizing existing capital reserves, this project will result in a 0% tax levy increase for our local taxpayers.
Investing in warm, welcoming, and updated spaces directly supports student achievement and protects our community’s shared assets. We encourage all eligible community members to participate in the upcoming vote on December 2nd. Detailed information regarding voting times, locations, and absentee ballots will be shared on the district website and through upcoming mailings.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of the Mount Markham Central School District.
Sincerely,
Lauren Crisman, Superintendent of Schools
Mount Markham Central School District
