Mount Markham CSD's Annual Easter Egg Hunt is coming up! Join us at 10:00 am on April 1st at the high school for an egg hunt sponsored by the National Honor Society. In the event of rain, the egg hunt will be held in the gymnasium. We'll see you there!

As nominations for the Hall of Fame Award close by April 1st, we would like to continue to celebrate some of our past recipients and share what the award meant to them. Today, we would like to celebrate Daniel Jones, who was honored with the Hall of Fame Award in 2021.

In Mrs. Brower's English 10 class, students participated in a Mystery Activity. All of the students communicated, collaborated and problem solved to figure out who committed the act. The class had a great time finding the evidence to come to a decision!




At Mount Markham Elementary School, some of our students are participating in an after-school music program on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Under the direction of Mrs. Winkler, students have been practicing cardio and bucket drumming, giving them the chance to work together and improve their ability to count music. Mount Markham Connected Community Schools is hosting another food giveaway on March 17th! A representative from Catholic Charities' Nutrition Outreach and Education Program will be available during this time to answer questions regarding SNAP.



Students in Mrs. Sanzo's class are having a sweet time learning about exponential growth and decay! In order to understand the concept in a more hands-on way, students are using M&M's as manipulatives.

Mount Markham CSD art students have had their artwork on display at both the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts and Bassett Health Center Herkimer! March is Youth Art Month, so stay on the lookout for more work from our young artists.





Mount Markham Connected Community Schools had a successful time with their food giveaway on Monday, February 20! After running out of spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, our CCS staff were able to get in touch with Madison for additional food to give away.
