Students in Mrs. Entwistle's class practiced their multiplication facts with a fun robotic twist to bowling. Students had to work in groups to code Dash to knock over a certain amount of cups. The cups revealed a multiplication problem that they needed to solve. As students worked through each challenge, they put their debugging skills to the test. Our students were able to determine how to adjust their code to increase or decrease the amount of cups that they knocked over.

MOUNT MARKHAM CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT STAFF SHOUT-OUT MELISSA OSBORN, LORI MARSH, JENNIFER MCDONALD, DAVE KIRKPATRICK, BRIAN MATTISON & HEATHER KAMPF THE NOMINATOR WROTE: "I want to thank everyone that has helped to make the Elementary Music program run smoothly this year! I cannot make this happen alone and I appreciate each one of these people that help me keep around 90 students safe while participating in elementary music rehearsals and performances. Melissa and Lori help me daily to make sure that I know where all of my students are going after rehearsals are done, Brian and Heather and their team at the bus garage help me to make sure I put all of the students on the correct buses when we walk to the high school, Dave helps us cross the road after each of our rehearsals, and Jen has supported this rehearsal schedule for many years. Without this support and help from these individuals (and the members of their teams that work behind the scenes), 3rd and 4th-grade chorus and a 4th-grade musical play would not be possible. I am truly grateful for all of the time and effort they put in on behalf of the students involved in these productions. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!!!!"; images: Melissa Osborn, Lori Marsh, Jennifer McDonald, Dave Kirkpatrick, Brian Mattison, Heather Kampf, Mount Markham Mustang
