Landon Eck has been selected as the Mt. Markham Optimist Club 8th Grade Youth of the Month for April. He is the son of John and Jacklyn Eck of West Winfield, NY.
During his time in middle school, Landon has been involved in cross country, the Ski/Snowboard Club, and modified baseball, where he was elected team captain. He is also a member of the Junior FFA Club, currently serving as treasurer. Landon is enrolled in AFNR advanced Ag class, as well as the Advanced ELA class, and has maintained Honor Roll status throughout middle school.
Outside of school, Landon enjoys helping out his neighbors through community service. He is also a member of the West Exeter Snow Drifters snowmobile club. Landon’s future plans include going into trades with an interest in underwater welding or other welding professions.
