Elaina Raymond has been selected as the Mt. Markham Optimist Club 8th Grade Youth of the Month for January. Elaina is the daughter of Courtney and Paul Raymond of West Winfield, NY.
During her time in middle school, Elaina has participated in modified field hockey, modified volleyball, and modified softball. She is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and has served as a team captain for the field hockey team. Elaina is currently enrolled in the accelerated algebra, living environment, ELA, and studio art classes.
In her free time, Elaina has volunteered at the Mt. Markham food drive, packed cancer care bags with her modified field hockey team, and helped with the field hockey cancer raffle.
Elaina’s future plans include attending college in New York City or enrolling in cosmetology school.
