Niala Lunny has been selected as the Mt. Markham Optimist Club 8th Grade Youth of the Month for May. Niala is the daughter of Demetria and William Lunny Sr. of West Winfield, NY.
While in Middle School, Niala has been involved in the National Junior Honor Society, Yearbook club, and the Advanced Studio Art class. Niala has also participated in modified soccer, volleyball, and track. Outside of school, Niala enjoys playing on a club volleyball team. Niala’s future plans include becoming an actress or a lawyer.
