Amaria Whitehurst has been selected as January's Mount Markham Optimist Club 8th Grade Youth of the Month. Amaria is the daughter of Eleanor and Michael Jackson of Cassville, NY.
While in middle school, Amaria has been involved in Modified Basketball and is practicing her volleyball skills for next year. Amaria has been on the Honor Roll while at Mount Markham Middle School.
Outside of school, Amaria enjoys babysitting and helping out at home. Her father gives her cooking lessons so she can learn how to cook. Amaria plans to attend an Ivy League University and be a doctor like her mom.
