Isabella Gifford has been selected as the Mount Markham Optimist Club 8th Grade Youth of the Month for October. Isabella is the daughter of Justin and Anna Gifford of West Winfield, NY.
While in middle school, Isabella has been involved in Modified Field Hockey and Modified Softball. She is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. Isabella is a student in the Accelerated Math, Science, and ELA classes and the Advanced Technology class.
Isabella has received several MMTA awards and has been on the Gold and Silver Honor Roll throughout her years at Mount Markham Middle School. She has also received the President’s Education Award.
Outside of school, Isabella enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, playing summer softball, and swimming. Isabella’s future goals include attending college and becoming a pediatrician. Isabella would like to tell the Optimist Club that she is very honored to have been selected as the Youth of the Month.
