Amelia Seelman has been selected as the Mount Markham Optimist Club 8th Grade Youth of the Month for March! Amelia is the daughter of Rachael Seelman and David Witt of West Winfield, NY.
Throughout middle school, Amelia has been involved in Modified Volleyball and Track. Amelia has also been involved in CFES, FFA, band, the Drug Quiz competition and the National Junior Honor Society. Amelia is a student in Accelerated Math, Science and ELA classes and AFNR.
Amelia has received several MMTA awards, an FFA Discovery Degree, awards at the State Fair, LDE awards and was selected for All-County Band. Amelia has been on the Gold Honor Roll throughout her years at the middle school.
Outside of school, Amelia enjoys gymnastics, volleyball and fishing. Amelia’s future plans are to become a physical therapist, play volleyball at the college level and foster children.
