The Mount Markham Skeet Club team dominated the fall season, performing with incredible precision and discipline that has secured them the First Place Team Award in the
New York State High School Clay Target League. The individual performances of team members also played a significant role in their success.
Wyatt Beach demonstrated exceptional consistency, securing 2nd Place for Male High Average. Jillian Maine was recognized for her superior marksmanship, earning the title of Female High Average. Additionally, John Tern’s unwavering focus earned him both the 1st Place Male High Average and the distinguished title of Male Overall High Average.
While these individual statistics are impressive on their own, they add up to something even bigger. Skeet shooting is often seen as an individual challenge, but the team has proved that the strength of the individual builds the strength of the team. Congratulations!
