Mount Markham Central School District Foundation
The Mount Markham Central School District Foundation was established in 1996 as an asset to the school community by a nine-member Board of Directors, who established by-laws to preserve its integrity, flexibility, and growth.
The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation established to provide assistance to qualified groups or entities within the school community. Funding for the Foundation is primarily obtained through tax deductible contributions, donations, and an annual golf tournament.
Since its inception, the Foundation has funded more than $114,000 in grants and scholarships. Examples of grants are Speech & Debate competitions, Positivity Project, SADD program, First Aid Class, Books in Homes, Post Prom Party, FFA, Astronomy Class Telescope Project, and Nurse’s Office Equipment.
