I have been a PE teacher at Mt. Markham since 2004.  In the last couple of years I have become very active in the NYS AHPERD organization and am currently president of our local Cenral North Zone branch of that state organization.

I have coached basketball and softball in the past, but am taking a leave from coaching so that I may enjoy watching my own children play.  I plan to return to coaching when they are done with school.

I am also a field hockey official.  This is my 3rd year and I do enjoy the other side of the game very much.  I believe it is one of the best ways to learn and appreciate the game.

I have taken a role as leader for the Mighty Milers club that I started at MM Middle school.  My goal to get students up and moving as much as possible.  I offer after school and early morning walking and running opportunities for students to participate in on a choice bases.  Please look at my Mighty Milers page to learn more.
