The Haudenosaunee

We will be learning about the Haudenosaunee people this year.  Do you know who the Haudenosaunee are? You may know them by another name - the Iroquois.  We will be doing some close reading of a very important document called The Great Law of Peace.  Also, we will be reading many non-fiction books about them.  Joseph Bruchac, an author, wrote the book Eagle Song.  This is a nonfiction book that we will be reading about Native Americans.
