Welcome to Mount Markham Senior High School. Our beautiful campus surrounded by rolling green hills is located one-half mile off of Route 20 on Fairground Road in the small rural village of West Winfield, New York; across the road from Mount Markham Elementary School which is located next door to Mount Markham Middle School. Our building houses nearly 500 students in grades 9-12. |
We offer excellent programs in Art, Music, Spanish,
French (students go to France every July), Computers, Technology, Child
Development, Foods, Health, Math, Physical Education, Science, Social
Studies, English, Business, and Regents covering basic core subjects. A
principal, two guidance counselors; PTA; MOMMS; and a very creative, hard
working, caring staff support us. |  |
Special programs at the High School include a complete and diverse sports program for males and females (cheerleading, wrestling, soccer, cross-country, field hockey, football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, track, baseball, softball and golf); Speech and Debate Team/Forensics; Color Guard; Outward Bound; Drama; Show Choir, Jazz Band, Annual Musical Production; Student Council; GAA; French Club, National Honor Society; Yearbook; School Newspaper; SADD; Library Club; Varsity Club; Mathletics; HS Quiz Team; Ski Club; and FCCLA Mustangs. Mount Markham High School is also very pleased to acknowledge that a brand new state of the art fitness center graces our facility and is open to not only our students, but also the residents of our school district.
